Day 96- Head in the Clouds

It's been super stormy and rainy, with brief periods of sunny. So, today - Clouds.

Thinking this would be cute on a girl's bedding set.

Day 95 - Let's Go Camping!

I've been having the strong urge to camping and kayaking... and my social media friends are only increasing this! So, here's my take on the Great Outdoors:

Day 90 - Geo Tiles

Lots of paths this new art bit could go - trying not to get overwhelmed with the possibilities. Though I know I'd like to screen print a few products - perhaps some tea towels and napkins, scarves and tote bags? We'll see....

Each one of these blocks could be enlarged to be a tea towel or napkin, but I do like the look of the tiles.

Began this while waiting for a screening of 'Girl Rising' at the Gheens Planetarium to begin this afternoon at U of L. Such moving stories.

Still needs work, but...

This design will definitely end up as a tea towel and pillow cover. 

Day 69 - ABC's

Working on ideas for screen prints. Tonight, it's a sweet print for a baby's room. 

Day 68 - Be Different

I was at my friend's house tonight and we got into a great discussion about taking inspiration, and then doing your own thing.

On my way home I did some thinking, sometimes it's hard to put yourself out there and truly do your 'own' thing - in fact, it can be downright scary. Like when I started posting my drawings for the world to see. For me, it's like baring a bit of my soul. Even on the 68th day, I still get nervous pushing 'Publish' and then posting to Instagram. But on the whole, this exercise has been an amazing adventure.

So, I give you, 'Be Different.'
